Meet the Team
In addition to creating trend setting product types in the central Texas market, Lonestar Development Partners President and Principals, Ryan Larson and Chris Kopacek have fully completed 10 projects totaling more than 3,054 residential units, and $509MM in total project costs.

Ryan Larson
Ryan oversees the underwriting of projects, financial pro forma, senior debt, operating agreement, and Lonestar office operations. Mr. Larson holds an MBA from The University of Texas, where he graduated with honors.

Chris Kopacek
Chris Kopacek specializes in business development for Lonestar Development Partners. He is responsible for investor relations, debt and equity sourcing and broadening Lonestar’s network. Mr. Kopacek has an MBA from The University of Texas and was a former F-16 fighter pilot and a distinguished graduate from the U.S Air Force Academy.

Brad Walters
Brad is responsible for sourcing and executing all new development opportunities. Prior to joining Lonestar, Mr. Walters held senior development roles with Forestar Group, Trammell Crow Residential, and Carmel Partners. In his career, Mr. Walters has managed the development of 17 rental communities with a total capitalization in excess of $850 million.

Chris White
Chris White is responsible for coordinating capital markets activities for Lonestar Development Partners. Chris came to LDP from The Amherst Group and has over 17 years of experience in finance, private equity, and real estate. He holds a BSBA from the University of Richmond and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and watching sports.

Jeff Slocum
Jeff directs the in-house construction for Lonestar Development Partners. He has 35 years of multi-level experience managing mixed-used urban projects, including high rise, podium, and wrap, as well as garden style multi-family apartments, condominiums, historical renovations, student housing and single-family homes. Prior to joining Lonestar, Mr. Slocum held Vice President roles for Bonner Carrington, Simpson Housing and Alliance Residential. In his career, Mr. Slocum has built in excess of 10,000 units, exceeding $1.5 billion, in new construction across the United States.

Cindy Rapisand
Cindy Rapisand is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate from Texas A & M University. She has over 20 years of experience in all areas of real estate partnerships and reporting. She has managed the accounting of more than $3 billion in real estate assets for institutional co-mingled funds, private placement syndications and third-party properties. She has also managed the accounting for LITHC projects that included $100 million of construction projects and $500 million of operating properties.

Rachael Lovelace
Rachael provides administrative support to Lonestar Development Partners’ principals. She graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Phoenix and has a 12-year background in residential real estate. In her free time, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and painting.
